Glad that it helped you as much as it helped me wigglesbears.

This bag is so popular, I have got some Patons Sorbet and I'm hoping to do this as my next project, however I can't seem to find how many balls of wool I would need can anyone advise me please.

i think i used 10 in my bag but my bag was quite large (think i did more rounds on the base) you could always just make a start and use what you've got. i would do the straps while i still knew i had enough yarn. I also added some other cotton yarns into my bag so while the overall effect was patons sorbet i know theres a few interlopers in my bag. And don't forget the scalloped edging takes quite a bit of yarn but you could always adapt this to what you've got.
hope that helps.

I needed 9 balls of yarn (100grms), but I did have some left over.
Turned out to be quite expensive as I was using pure wool chunky. :o

I've not tried it this way yet, but just about to try.

I've just started on my bag and am attempting this way of joining new yarn but I think I may have ended up doing a ch4 instead of ch3 at the start of round 3 as it looks a bit wrong, are you supposed to pull the new yarn through and then ch3, or pull the new yarn through yo and pull through and then ch3? I did the later but I'm thinking that it looks a bit too long :? I can post pics if it helps
Thanks for any help!

ETA: Ok, ignore this-I've rewatched the video and realised the first ch they do is because it's the first st in the row/round (might have helped if I'd had the sound on too!) I'm now happily going round in circles  And thank you to Joy for the tip about putting the new yarn joins in different places
