I've done a stupid thing and dried my favourite Fat Face 'do not dry in direct sunlight' t-shirt on the washing line and now it's faded in patches and I can't wear it any more. I'm trying to track down a new one but it's last year's stock and the helpful lady at our nearest outlet village didn't sound too hopeful. Does anybody know if I can dye it a darker shade of pink than it already is so that I can cover up the faded patches and wear it again? I've never tried dyeing anything before, and because I know there are lots of yarn dyeing experts her, I thought I'd try asking here for help first!

I'm by no means an expert dyer, but what about one of the Dylon Dyes?

If it's a pure cotton t-shirt I'd be happy to post you some procion dye and the soda ash you need to set it. I've got instructions too, but be warned: it's addictive

Even if they don't have it now, it can still be worth keeping your eye out later. I remember seeing a skirt in a shop at our outlet village which I'd bought in a sale two or three years ealier.
