I’ve just returned from a day out visiting family and it has been lovely to log on and see all these lovely photos. Thankyou everyone for persevering with the gallery.
We have 4 swaps not yet received and about 12 photos still to go up

I’ve taken myself through uploading photos into the gallery for those that are struggling, so apologies if i have stated the obvious but i hope it helps.
On the options bar it says "forums gallery team contact donate and FAQ" –click on gallery!
You will see phoenix swaps and in that box there are 2 subalbums, valentine’s swap and Christmas knitalong2010 we need to click on valentine swap
You will now see thumbnails of all the photos already uploaded, but above and below the photos on the left hand side it says image upload click on either of these
You will see a page similar to where we post a pm or new thread (pity i can’t do screen shots)
Working from top to bottom looking from the left of the page to the right
Imagename –insert the name of what you are posting
Then there is a text box same as for posting for a description but you don’t need to enter anything here.
Then it says file with an empty box and a button labelled Browse
Click on browse and it takes me to the page that shows my folders, if i click on pictures i see all the folders of the photos i have uploaded from my camera onto the computer, when i open this i see thumbnails, click on the photo you want to put in the gallery and press open and it will automatically enter the file name into the empty box. Very similar to what you would do on flickr
I now just press the submit button at the bottom of this page.
There are other options, i haven’t explored those

Rachael, yours went in the post today!

Ooohhh I'm really excited now, xx

Thankyou!

It arrived this morning and is the most beautiful book mark i have seen, i love reading books it often a toss up between some knitting or reading shame i cant do both, lol.
I bet you had to use super tiny needles though as the pattern is so small.
I will try and get a photo on but am rubbish at technical stuff like that, I will have a good try though..you are also very naughty for putting such a massive bar of chocolate in but it will be thoroughly enjoyed as a naughty treat over the next few weeks if it survives that long i'll be surprised

xx

Somehow missed this post until now Rachael! I'm so, so glad you liked it!! I was done on 2 or 2.5mm needles (can't remember which and the number have worn off!).

If you can't get a piccy done/uploaded, I took one before I sent it which i can upload if you like. It's only a crappy iphone pic as my camera has the temprement of a naughty 3 yr old and doens't want to play atm   but I'm happy to put it up to save you the bother. xx

eta hope that last bit doesn't sound arsey! It's not meant to, but however I write it it still sounds it! hehe! you'll just have to trust me that it's not how I mean it

Thank you for my lovely heart and chocolate, Kirsty!

Got the hubby thinking, me opening a package this morning that had that in and no card! LOL!

Will post pictures at some point, but have no idea how to do it on here!

Oops!! jumped the gun there a bit, a neighbour just knocked at the door with a parcel she'd taken in for me while I was out shopping this morning, and it was my gorgeous parcel from Rainey  I got 2 stunning facecloths with hearts on, and box of chocolates that wont last much longer  a heart shaped bath pillow and a lovely card  they were all beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and tied with bows, I feel totally spoilt, thanks Rainey :D

Piccie in gallery

Darkestknits, I`m sorry for the delay in posting a pic of the lovely things you sent me.
I`m afraid I am having camera problems, but will get it sorted tomorrow.

Just jumped on the PC (as soon as we got back) to say thank you to Wendy for the really cute rabbit and the chocolate - very scrummy. Will post a piccie just as soon as hubby unearths the camera.

Thanks again :D :D
