It's the monthly knitting hootenanny in Kings Heath, Birmingham tonight, at the Hare and Hounds pub.

I've had a hiatus for a couple of months, so I'm going 'tooled up' determined to do some knitting. I normally take THE sock blankie, since it takes no concentration when I'm gabbing and attracts lots of hoos and haws.

However, I've got new project start-itis, so I've just used half a tree of paper to print off some Rav queued patterns and I'm packing my needle roll and a big bag of stash. I'm going with my friend who's currently on a sock monkey craze (all needle arts are allowed).

If there's any local girls here, I'd really recommend it
