whey hey cast on my brambles beret last night, am really enjoying the pattern, the only reason i didn't finish it was the glass of wine i had sent me to sleep! ha, poor excuse i know but occasionally one has to prioritise

Eileen did it for me too; I think that one may well turn into another February Lady, it seems very popular  Those vertical lines of pattern are very flattering, but I don't really like zipped cardigans so I'll probably just add a button or two at the top, or even a frog-style fastening.

Sigh! - I love Scare Isle, I would, wouldn't I, especially as it's 'piquant' and probably way beyond my ability. Isn't the model too beautiful as well!!

Blimey, you're quick, Joy! It looks marvellous, what a pretty colour.

You slept in it? Explain....

That's lovely, Joy, and it's my favourite colour too. I will have to try that pattern.

I like Beatnik (although I'd have to make the body longer otherwise it would annoy me!), Eileen (but with a longer zip), the Riff socks and the Ringwood gloves best.

Love that beret you've made, Joy :)

One thing that annoys me a bit about the Knitty front page is that the thumbnail pics and names don't always give much indication of what type of garment it is (i.e. cardigan, hat, scarf, etc).
