If anyone has some Magpie Tweed, colour Ivy 765, to give to a good home (or even sell), it would make my best friend's Mum in Sweden VERY happy! She only needs 50 - 100g.

Alternatively, any information about where to find discontinued Rowan yarns would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much for your reply, that's wonderful news! I was giving up hope as it's apparently been discontinued for years. Rowan directed me to ebay which I've tried without success.

If you can bear going up to the loft I'd be so grateful. It's kind of a personal mission for me to find it as the lady who needs it is a very important person to me, and I know she would be thrilled to be able to finish the jacket she's knitting with the right yarn.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Katarina, just an idea - have you tried looking on Ravelry to see if there is anybody with it in their stash, who might be willing to part with it?

I'll go up in the loft tomorrow and let you know.

Katarina, I have 700gms of shade 765. You can have as much or as little as you want of it.

I also have 100 gms of 763 (a wine colour) if anyone is interested.

Happy to do a swap for some sock yarn, or whatever.
