Found a fix to get Craftsy videos to work on slower internet

Hi All After posting recently about Craftsy having classes on special offer (then probably having a rant) that my internet wouldn't let me play, I thought it only fair to share the fix. I finally found a way to get Craftsy videos to play smoothly on my slow internet connection on my PC, blogged the ...

Hi All Not sure where to post this, so pretty please can any one move this somewhere more appropriate if I goofed. Just got an email from Craftsy to say their online classes are 50% off till June 9th. I've been on the fence about signing up for the Shawlscapes one by Stephen West for ages but our in...

Its great as you get the same view of the project as you would knitting it yourself. Knitting tips by Judy channel on You Tube Think this is the ...

Re: Ending with ws row. What does this mean?

Ending with a wrong side row, I take it to mean that you work the wrong side row (usually a purl) then start the next set of instructions with a knit row. That's how I read it, too. Thanks x When I measured it last night I've over done the rows a bit so I've put a spare knitpicks cable through wher...

Re: Ending with ws row. What does this mean?

Ending with a wrong side row, I take it to mean that you work the wrong side row (usually a purl) then start the next set of instructions with a knit row. As for 'continue without shaping until armhole measures 19cm' I always measure straight up from the start of the armhole. When I make my first d...

Re: Ending with ws row. What does this mean?

Hi CC Thanks for your advice, but please keep the title of the post as before the ramble, my first question was about the Ending with a WS row. My pattern said continue without shaping until armhole measures 19cm, 'ending with a ws row. ' I know this means wrong side row but the question is, do I wo...

Ending with ws row. What does this mean?

Hi All Hope you are all well and have been having a wonderful time knitting up a storm. Re: knitted Tilda doll

Haven't heard of knitted Tilda stuff, I've heard of their sewn projects, they have quite a thing for rag dolls and home decor. Think of rustic New England style with bare floorboard painted white etc. Very nice projects. Where did you find a knitting pattern for their dolls?

Best wishes
