Buying Crochet hooks

Postby Aisles » Sun Jul 06, 2014 11:52 am

Now I have a number of sets of crochet hooks new metric and old imperial sizings just like my knitting needles.

However I'm always losing crochet hooks.

I'm in the middle of two crochet projects at the moment and I've lost hooks no problem I'll just use one from another set

Doh I've completely lost all my 3mm and 3.5mm hooks not a single one left from any of my sets.

So I decide I need to buy at lest 1 of each so off to the internet I go.
After much searching and comparing of prices I find it's cheaper for me to buy a set of 12 hooks than buy 2 individual hooks.

No brainer so now I've order 2 sets of 12 hooks so I'll have 2 of 3mm and 2 of 3.5 and the the remaining 20 hooks bascially come as free.

I'm the same as you crochet hooks always get lost no matter how careful I try to be. And I also buy the sets available on eBay because they are such good value.
