And little girls should always have what they want. And lovely of you to make it for her, scotgirl.

Great cardi Maisie, I like the lace at the bottom.

Made it, I spun the yarn from a nunoco gradient pack and made myself a little shawl. I had an extravagant time at fibre east so there should be more goodies flying off the needles in August.

Joy - You excel in beautiful photography as much as beautiful spinning and knitting.

Looking forward to seeing your FE goodies coming alive

Done it again :(
Another shrug type jacket that looks great in the picture but never really looks the part actually on the body. Lovely soft 100% wool I had in stash but is wasted on this project

divadoll that looks lovely. I like the colour...you sound like me though. I find I make things for others and really love them. Do something for me and its a different story

Joy, that's a really pretty shawl, and such a lovely colour too, does it take long to spin your own wool?
Divadoll, such a nice top, love the pattern on the sleeves.

That's a great shrug/cardi diva, I bet it looks good on as well.

Thanks scotgirl, how long to spin 100g is not easy to answer, it all depends on how many other things I'm doing at the same time, and how much fibre prep is needed. if i'm using a prepared fibre, I'll spin two 50g bobbins over 3-4 evenings then I have to leave it on the bobbins overnight before I ply another evening to ply then I have to wash and set it, so I guess a week is practical for me, but this yarn took me much longer cause of all the other things I've been doing.
I do find it very therapeutic to sit and wheel spin.
Spindle spinning would probably take me over a month and I have to concentrate more.
