Scared but excited

Postby kharma2815 » Mon Dec 19, 2011 4:32 pm

For my birthday last year, I was given half a fleece, a set of carders (or whatever they're called) and a drop spindle. They've all been sitting in a bag in my wardrobe ever since.

Well, thanks to my wonderful parents, I am finally going to be able to do something with them. They have just paid for me to take a one day course with the Handweavers Studio in London to learn everything from sorting and preparing the fleece right the way up to plying.

So excited but also incredibly nervous!

How exciting indeed! Nothing to be scared about, unless you'll find the risk of getting another addiction a scary prospect. Don't forget to tell us all about it.

I can't wait. I'm so excited I'm actually bouncing in my chair and I'm 40!

I'm sure once you get the hang of it you'll have thoroughly good time, but beware spinning can get addictive
