jarrol sweet briar colour 07 "grouse moor"

Postby munchh » Sun Jan 25, 2015 2:15 pm

I bought a couple of balls of this last year, but im told it is discontinued now, ive searched on line and it seems so, it is kahki green, perfect for up the woods (long story), i have about 2/3 of a ball left, i am reluctant to do anything with it.
Any ideas, my last thought is contact the mill in Bradford?

That is more than annoying! Best advice I can give (since that particular colour is the problem) is to choose a contrast - different green or dark grey for example - and knit the brim in one colour and the rest in the other.

Yes i get your point, but i wanted to knit a jumper and many more hats, i will keep searching for more woody colours, you would think there would be more greens and browns?
