Feeling pleased

Postby TonyH » Fri Sep 01, 2017 4:33 pm

I have just tried doing a Crochet cast on. After more than a couple false starts, I successfully cast on 36 stitches. I'm not sure about the method, as it seemed to be quite a loose cast on. That may just be my problem but I was quite happy when it worked. I have to admit that I can't crochet. I can just about manage to do a chain, then it all goes to pot :curse: It just looks like a bag of knots. So apart from a couple of hooks for when I drop a stitch, most of my hooks are consigned to the bin!

 If only that were the answer @darknit. I've been practicing since 1966
