Sorry I'm not around much these days, doing lots of other things on my narrowboat. And I'm spending more time on Ravelry.

Thank you ladies. That yarn is 100% acrylic. Got it from Poundstretcher at £4.99 for 400gms. Have got 4 out of the one ball/skein and at a push, might get another. It’s so easy to knit too.

After my heart bypass operation last year I decided I needed small scale projects to work on and started knitting socks. Although now fully fit again the habit has stuck and I am on my ninth pair, this time using up leftover yarn from my previous projects:
