I know that others mentioned this on the previous forum but I decided to give this a try and I'm loving working with it. I bought it to do a couple of fake fair-isle tank tops for my little ones and I love the way it is knitting up.

Apologies for the slightly blurry photo - keen to get back to the knitting while DS2 is still asleep :D

Oooo, love the muted colours, looks like it's knitting up beautifully, can't wait to see the finished item

I knit some fingertip-less mitts in this and love the way it's come out. I did find it split quite often but the look and feel is worth it.

I really like the look of Crofter and plan to give it a try, wither for socks, or fingerless mits.

I have just yesterday finished knitting a jumper for myself in this, in the darker pink colour. It was lovely to knit with and feels really soft to the touch, haven't worn it yet though but I think it will be so comfy to wear.

I LOVE crofter in all its new weights :D It is a top yarn, I never lose the enjoyment of its pattern appearing (simple pleasures!) Currently making socks from chunky and it is simply a JOY to knit with and I can see my family ending up hating it as it takes over their wardrobes!

I've had a lovely squidge of that yarn at the wool shop - it does knit up nicely doesn't it?

Funnily we had a lady in the shop last week who was not sure if she could knit a pattern for a grandson as she thought it was rather complicated despite the pattern saying "easy knit". She had not realised that the yarn did all the hard work for her ....

The Sirdar rep was in last week with a baby crofter which was fab!

I'm also a fan of crofter.

I have made a tank top, fingerless mitts, socks and a hat out of the DK.

Great choice of colours , lovely feel to knitted fabric and looks like you are clever at knitting - Who could ask for more!!!! :D

It's beautiful and knits up so soft. I got the new Baby Crofter in stock a few weeks ago. My problem is keeping it to sell and not helping myself!! Its like having my own huge stash!! My husband keeps reminding I'm supposed to be selling the wool not using it all myself! But I get so excited every time I get something new. I tell him its important to try it so I can answer any questions people may have!!
