Test knitters requested

Postby phantomknitter » Thu Mar 18, 2010 1:04 am

I would like to have this pattern test-knit so am calling here for anyone willing to dip their toe in the water. I announced in on a ravelry group as well.

Can you give more information?

Yarn thickness, needles, techniques required?

It looks very pretty.

Here's a copy of what I specified on rav:

Tools needed: Circular needles or DPNs in approx size 3.5mm and 4.5mm

Material needed: DK yarn, 120m, cotton most suitable but can look good in other fibres

If desired, 30 beads and a crochet hook for beading, unless you prefer to string beads beforehand

Pattern Difficulty: Intermediate
Formats Available: Word, PDF
Pattern Style: Chart

Testing needs: Comment on style and clarity of instructions, accuracy of charts, and sizing/fit of finished item. I would like photos I can include as part of the pattern once it’s public on ravelry to show item in different colours and possibly different fibres.

Thank you to anyone who is interested.

I'd love to give it a try Phantom. I'm not too speedy on circulars, but I'll go as fast as I can :D

I have both 3.5 and 4.5mm dpn and circular so could have a dabble but I would need to know what the deadline is as I must cast on my easter swap tomorrow

I think I said 3rd April, (that's when I head off on holiday) but there are a few people onboard by now so if you want to take things slower, that's just fine. If you PM me an email, I'll send you the PDF and you can click away when you're ready.

Thanks perigeri - now there is no rush really so you're welcome to click away at your own pace. I'll send you the PDF as soon as you email me your address, and I'll be here to answer questions until 3rd April. Then I'm off and away for two weeks so hopefully you'll not have major concerns at that time, but I apologize in advance if that is a worry in any way.
