Looking for a pattern that matches my yarn

Postby KnittingElf » Sun May 22, 2016 6:05 am

Hi, can someone please recommend me an easy pattern? I want to make a scarf using 200grams of variegated 8ply wool. I have two pairs of straight needles; one is 10mm and I think the other pair is about 3mm thick. I would like a simple pattern (consisting of knit and purl and maybe even slip stitches and yarn overs) that would suit my type of wool and the needles I have.

Thanks in advance,
KnittingElf

There's lots of scarf patterns out there that you could try. But just as another idea, you could try something more interesting than a scarf, like this Cat Lovey, which is just simple stitches, but more interesting to make than a scarf. :)
