Circular needle holders

Postby knittingfairy » Thu Aug 20, 2009 9:39 am

Does anyone know of a place to buy some sort of case for holding circulars? I would prefer a rigid case to the roll up one that I have seen on the web. Does such a thing exist?

Rita I quite like the recycled idea of this one and it's no sew

I store mine in a CD box that I got in morrisons. Each circ is in a resealable freezer bag with a lable on the bag showing size and length.

That cotton reel one looks good but might not look so good when you have loads of different sizes and lengths on if.

Thanks for this link - I might try the cotton reels idea. I do like re-cycling!

I like cycling aswell but that's another forum!

I keep mine in clear pencil cases. I`m afraid they are not very organized.
I really like the cotton reel idea, but I don`t use enough cotton to make one.LOL

if you can get clear make up/toiletry pouches they tend to be a deeper size that most pencil cases, i've got one of those for my needles

My mum passed her handy idea onto me, take an empty pringles tub and poke the needles through the lid - you can also keep all the cable needles and crochet hooks inside rather than having them poke out of the top!

Happy days! ;)
