I've only just spotted this post, CC, so it's good to take a look. Thanks for the link. As usual, there are a few patterns I like the look of - Castanea, Lilium, Romanesco, Tendrils, Wavelettes, Rosewood - more than a few this time, in fact! I'm particularly drawn to shawls at the moment, although I enjoy making them more than I tend to wear them!

I thought I recognized the 1st photo, which came up: Paris!
I like Lillium very much.

The Paris pics are great, aren't they?

I'm very much a process knitter and sewer to; I like a finished product, but the making is what I enjoy most. With socks at least you get wear out of them a lot!

There are some fabulous shawls in the collection aren't there.
I must admit I'm also in the group of people who like to make shawls but don't wear them much :(
Perhaps it's something I need to work on, especially when I've taken the trouble to make them. The problem is at the moment I am making socks and they knit up so quickly it's much more of an 'instant gratification' kind of thing!

I know exactly what you mean, CC and Lynne! At least my socks get worn every day even if they're hidden under my jeans whereas a shawl is to show off but just doesn't get the same outings!
